How about an unforgettable day away from your hotel to visit one of the greatest wonders of the world, the Pyramids of Giza. Step back in time and walk in the footsteps of the Ancient Egyptians as you stand in awe beneath the Great Pyramid and gaze upon the majestic Sphinx.

Travelling by air from Hurghada to Cairo removes the hassle of long journeys and gets you there in under an hour, giving you more time to explore the magic of Egypt's capital in comfort and style.

Your Journey: You'll be picked up from your hotel in Hurghada and transferred to the airport for your short flight to Cairo. On arrival, your guide will be waiting outside the terminal to greet you and begin your day of discovery.

Your first stop is the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Opened in 1902, the museum houses over 120,000 ancient artifacts, including the world-famous golden mask of Tutankhamun, a masterpiece of ancient craftsmanship.

Optional: Take a short motorboat trip along the River Nile to enjoy a different perspective of Cairo's vibrant cityscape. Lunch will be served as an open buffet.

After lunch, you'll visit a papyrus institute, where you'll see how ancient Egyptians made paper from papyrus plants. Next, you'll head to the Giza Plateau, home to the Great Pyramids and the Great Sphinx. This 5,000-year-old necropolis is one of the most famous historical sites in the world.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and most intact of the three main pyramids. For over 4,000 years, it was the tallest man-made structure on Earth. Optional: you can enter the pyramid and make your way through the narrow corridors to the King's chamber.

You'll also visit the Great Sphinx, a limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of a human. To finish the day, you'll stop at a perfume shop where you can learn about traditional Egyptian fragrances made from pure, alcohol-free oils.

You'll then be transferred back to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Hurghada. On arrival, a transfer will take you back to your hotel.
